Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for an established company in New Hampshire called Alchemy Lead Management. We currently provide lead paint testing and training services. The testing / inspection part of the business is the main driving factor in our revenues. The current website is merely using a placeholder and should not be considered for the design (www.nhlead.com). The website does provide the information about what it is that we do. The winning design will be used in further website development and business cards. The ALM abbreviation can be used in the design as long as the name appears as the logo text. We are not fixed on color, but we would prefer a colorful logo that translates well to black and white print if required. There is a 'green movement" in the industry at the moment so greens and nature colors could be used to show safety and health. We have included picture files of the instrument used in the testing. It is commonly known as an XRF paint analyzer. If the XRF is used in the logo, it should be the concept or abstract of the XRF. We do not want the name of the company next to the picture of the XRF this would be too generic. The name of the company is "Alchemy Lead Management" - Alchemy is the process of turning lead into gold, which was the reason for the name selection. This may help with design ideas.
