Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo for a new company based in Ballston Lake, NY called J. Ryan Contractors, LLC. We started as a masonry business (brick, concrete, stone and flat work) and are beginning to branch out to general contracting as well (bathroom remodeling, kitchens, etc.). My partner and I like SIMPLE designs. We love dark grey (gunmetal grey), white and black for accents. If there needs to be an accent color to go with the grey, white and black, we would prefer a blue-grey (please see attached color swatch for a general idea). We would like to incorporate the brick pattern/icon into the logo. The final design should communicate simplicity and elegance. That being said, we don't necessarily want the logo to be too feminine either. Simple and clean is desired. The logo needs to pop on both black and white (white vehicles)! Another item to keep in mind when creating the logo...we want there to be an option within the logo to grab just a piece of it like an icon. So think of social media, rather than having the entire logo with J. Ryan Contractors, LLC on it, there would be a memorable icon to go along with it. If someone sees this logo, they don't need to see J. Ryan Contractors on it every time to recognize it is our company. Please see attached for one logo that stood out to us.
