Brief de Design de Logo

UPDATE 3/21: After reviewing all the submissions the past few days, we would like to get more submissions that are more modern, with sharp lines to be more dominate and strong. We would like to see more use of the negative space within the logo to really make the logo stand out and make the viewer do a double take. We thank you again for your participation.

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to look at our brief. We hope this brief inspires you to submit a logo because we seek all types of perspective!

About our company, Ascend Supply Co. is a brand that sells rock climbing training products and apparel. However, we're not just a rock climbing company, we're much more than that. We’re looking for a strong and powerful logo that encompasses and reflects our overall mission: to help people ascend and strive to become better versions of themselves through rock climbing.

If you’re not familiar with the rock climbing world, it’s a very social activity and a very supportive community that encourages one another to constantly get better. We want a logo that embodies that spirit and dynamic in a powerful, yet simple way. Word associations that immediately come to mind: community, ascend, improvement, journey, encouragement, support, strong, minimal, clean, powerful.

While we want to stick with black and white because it is associated with power and authority, we’re open to a third accent color. We’d like to have an icon and text logo that can both stand alone and together. Thank you for your time and we look forward to your talented work!
