Brief de Design de Logo

We are looking for a new logo to represent the business model our business grew into. We initially opened a business delivering fresh (partially locally grown) mushrooms to pizza shops, restaurants, and farmer’s markets (produce stands). The owner has over 35 years’ experience in the mushroom industry. Our initial business was ultimately successful, but we quickly realized a new potential within the industry. There are many small to medium sized mushroom farms throughout the country. These farms have no sales and marketing teams to market their product and end up selling to wholesalers at a reduced cost. We met with many of these farms and realized we could market these local products to national chains if they had one company representing these various growers. A chain is not going to deal with 50 farms, but they will deal with one company representing 50 farms. We are now a sales and marketing company and we would like our logo to match our needs. We started out cartoony, but now we want an elegant logo that works in a suit/tie type setting. We will be holding high level meetings with various food chains while representing local farmers throughout the country and we want a logo to match this setting. I have attached our original logo and a second, we were using for a while on mushroom packages, but we are looking for a more classy (elegant) logo.
