Brief de Design de Logo

We are an Architecture firm founded in 2005. To date we have only used our name"synergy design studio". We have grown rapidly and as such at this time we are considering our company image. We are looking for a symbol to incorporate into our logo which can be used in conjunction with our name or independently on items such as hardhats. We would like something simple, modern and not overbearing. We are torn between using the abbreviation "sds" which we feel is the least appealing just due to the letters OR just using an "s" OR creating a logo that is "architecture" based.We have looked at several alternatives or stationery packages on Pinterest.
