Brief de Design Graphique

I'm naming my boat untethered and need a vector graphic for the side of it. See below for canvas ratios. I was thinking a graphic of a heavy anchor chain, with the middle link failing/exploding into pieces. The chain could extend across the diagonal, kinda curved so it looks natural but going down into the water (no water in graphic), so that it kinda looks like its an anchor chain attached to the boat. Ideally the exploding link would be slightly obvious even from afar. This will be printed on adhesive vinyl and applied to the boat (which is a matterhorn white). I also included two sample vector graphics of chains with exploding links (named straight and curved.ai). I like the thicker links of the straight chain, but the overall styling and curve of the curved chain. If these traits could be combined, that would be great. Color wise, as long as there's a dozen or less colors in the final result, I can always recolor it, but the black-grey-silver look in the samples is fine (particularly the curved.ai file).

Updates: Added another sample pic of an anchor exit hole for the top-right (see "old big chain" and "anchor exit 1"; "old big chain" is closer to what I'd like). Also included another sample of an anchor chain with a cross-link in the middle of each link.

Updates #2: It's become clear that the canvas needs to be wider than originally anticipated, 1:2.2 (wide, not tall) is what the target surface can accommodate.

Updates #3: Added "target area" attachment, which shows the boat and the area the graphic is going. I'm working on getting a better photo with less perspective distortion to it.

• - thick links, so they barely fit
• - link failing / exploding
• - flying pieces of chain link, < 10, fewer but larger pieces
• - some natural coloring/styling to chain links, not just a single flat color. Should have a bit of a 3D appearance to the links.
• - fit within a 1:2.2 ratio canvas (more wide than tall)
• - will be approximately 6 feet by 13 feet, so needs to be a vector graphic or other high quality rendering.
