Brief de Design de Logo
RIVkids Family Psychology Services—psychology, counselling and behavioural interventions for children (often with 'special needs'), young people and their families (often with the mothers being the key parent).
We require a logo to promote our brand/service in a simple and easily recognisable and professional manner, in printed (initially) and online materials.
Key aspects include: a caring/nurturing environment; non-judgmental approach; understanding and supportive clinicians.
The 'RIV' portion of the name is representative of 'The Riverina' - the rural/regional area where the service is located (i.e., Wagga Wagga in regional NSW, Australia [ www.riverinatourism.com.au ]. This is a prime farming and agricultural region that includes several medium-sized rural cities and yet is located within only a few hours drive of key metropolitan centres.
Marché(s) Cible(s)
'Family' is a big focus, with mothers often being the most involved in any interventions with the young people.
While 'regional', the clientele would not be considered 'rural', and can come from all walks of life.

Bien d'avoir
- Could include the Greek symbol for psychology (e.g., ψ Ψ 𝝭 ψ - or a stylised version of same) — this may provide a recognisable symbol that may stand on its own (however, this is a VERY common symbol with psychology services and I feel it would therefore have to be presented in a somewhat unique manner if it was to become associated with THIS service alone). This is not a priority inclusion.
- It could present the word 'psychology' as in the dictionary representation (i.e., PSY・CHOL・O・GY—broken into syllables). This may help the very common word 'psychology' stand out (?) however, I'm not insisting that this must be the case.
- I would not imagine any 'real world object' included would be used stand-alone to represent the service, however it would be nice to have an element usable as a 'watermark' or graphic feature on other materials.
