Brief de Design de T-shirt

I'm in need of a fun waffle design/character for t-shirts and mugs for a video blog. It should reflect the feel of breakfast and this video:

I've attached a couple of images and designs that ultimately represent what I'm looking for. Please note these images are copyrighted and should not be duplicated.

I am also open to any slogans that may fit well with your design. For example, "Waffles Rule!" "Waffles over Pancakes!" that kind of thing.

I would consider breakfast/morning happy types of colors like oranges, yellows, tans and warm browns (think syrup).
