We need a compelling design to immediately communicate the message of the publication which describes the peril associated with current entitlement spending programs in the United States. The name of the publication is "On the Edge: America Faces the Entitlements Cliff"The back of the cover will have this text (or something like this, I'm adding it so that you can understand the scope of the book, it is about 200 pgs long) :"Entitlement programs have become an unsustainable financial strain on every developed economy, dragging those economies to the precipice of the fiscal cliff—if they haven’t already fallen off. This book’s theme is that when politicians set up entitlement programs to provide welfare, health care and pension benefits to certain populations, they overpromise benefits, underfund the programs, and misalign incentives—if not initially, then soon afterward. Over time, future elected officials expand the programs to cover more people with richer benefits, far outpacing the financing needed to sustain them."I have found an image that I think communicates well, and am attaching it here. But feel free to go another direction if you think of something better.
