Brief de Design de T-shirt

We need a T-Shirt design for our 2019 hacker (computer security) conference featuring our mascot Droppy the Drop Bear. Drop bears are mythical Australian creatures; they are basically Vampire Koala bears, ready to drop on unsuspecting tourists and devour them. Droppy has feature in different forms in all our conferences.

This is our 6th conference - VI in roman numerals. This gave us two concepts.
1. Russian/Cold War themes: VI looks like a Cyrillic digraph И - media and public perception of Russian hackers makes this a possible theme (think 80s cold war movie posters, Red Dawn, Rocky, those sorts of themes)

2. Escape/Trapped: vi is a popular unix text editor. It is famously difficult to use for beginners. To quit the tool without saving you have to press the escape key [ESC] then :wq! - this made us think of a trapped/ escape theme

3. Privacy/Big Brother: Australia has just passed 'encrypted message access' laws that are widely considered to be badly written and unimplementable. Our conference attracts folk from across the IT and computing industry, with a focus on computer security. It is a broadly a technical crowd. Government and law-enforcement are also a large part of our community.

There is also a strong focus on alternative and counter culture, the Hacker scene.

We strive for a diverse and inclusive environment for all races and genders, and are kid-friendly, although the themes are quite serious and adult.

• Material to offend the public decency - we want our shirts to be wearable in public
• Avoid Blade Runner and Tron - our sister conferences have used these themes recently.
