Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo for a new business called "Jo Y. Designs". We primarily sell original abstract art and giclee prints of those pieces, and sometimes run workshops. There is also some craft items (e.g., ceramics, handmade jewellery, cards, etc.) for sale.

We would like to see designs that are gender neutral, that is quite clean, simple and easy, minimalistic, peaceful and relaxing, elegant but not snooty. The final design should be in either black, white or gold (to go on top of the artwork for business cards, for example), or transparent (so that the colours of the artwork can be used). Overall, the colour will likely change depending on the customer group, event/workshop and product, so the wordmark and logo design needs to be recognisable and looks consistent regardless of which activity it is used for.

Additional notes: For text: We have no preference regarding cursive or normal fonts, as long as it reflects/encapsulates qualities as described above. For the imagery: No cartoons please. Also, no images that are too descriptive such that it boxes the brand into a particular product category. The image needs to give the brand room to evolve and grow.

• We would like to see a logo that would look nice against a plain backdrop (i.e., a transparent logo that we can add our own colours to, depending on the market), or a plain logo ((i.e., a black, white, or gold) that would look nice against the backdrop of one of the art pieces - please see images of sample artwork attached.
• If possible, the font you pick is a font that I can find/use on my website, business cards, packaging, marketing material, etc. so there is consistency throughout.
