Brief de Design de Logo

I am starting up a Think Tank at La Trobe University and need a logo. Two names have been proposed, either La Trobe Think Tank (LTT) or, La Trobe Student Policy Institute (LSPI) and designs are needed for both name proposals. The think tank will be an active platform for students of many disciplines to research problems in the public sphere and propose solutions. It will be not be targetted simply to university problems but will target any policy backed initiative in the greater community or even internationally. It aims to be a constructive platform for students to voice their concerns while also building a portfolio of work. La Trobe logo 's typically embodies the La Trobe eagle with a scroll in its talons, and colours are typically white, red and black. If the La Trobe eagle is incorporated into the logo, I would like it to be the official La Trobe eagle, the eagle does not have to be used however. These aspects are not firm, however, and a full creative licence is given. Most of the more effective think tank logo's, in my opinion, are simple and plain, as a flashy, colourful logo should not be the centrepiece of the think tank, but rather the content of submissions. Also, please, no light globes!I will upload the La Trobe eagle, and what I consider to be some of the more effective logos.
