Brief de Design Graphique

My clients hotels have recently been renovated and brought into the 21st century with new modern spaces to relax, children’s play areas and alfresco areas that will be popular for when we have popular sports events on that will be shown on big screen TVs. We are seeing a younger market now utilising new including families and a 25-45 year-old market. These guys are foodies and love to take snaps of their meals and put them on snap chat and Instagram.

We are now working on a summer menu that will suit this market with light options such as salads & poke bowls available to accommodate our humid summer days that reach 35+ degrees.

On our new summer menu and we would like to have a background image to reflect our poke bowl menu which will also be used in other promotional material. We are looking for a design that is vibrant in colour and reflect a fun and eclectic feel with a Hawaiian/Japanese twist as poke bowls originated from native Hawaiian and Japanese culture.

The design needs to suit a hotel environment and tie in well with our young demographic. We were thinking of animated expression on pineapples with hibiscus flowers etc bright, fun, summery, urban and eccentric design. I have attached a couple of images for inspiration

I do ask that the design is appropriate for children however I don’t want it to be childlike so steering away from baby pastel colours. No text will be necessary just imagery for a background.

I would like it to be bold and make our patrons smile when they see it.
