Brief de Design Graphique

My children and I are writing a book and we need a book cover. The book format is A5 (148 x 210 mm / 5.8 x 8.3 in). The name of the book is " Hippie Speech" . The book is to stimulate conversations in the family. A subtitle of the book may be "An interactive fun source with inspiration and thoughts for the family." The book contains the chapters with life phases of Childhood, teenagers, the 20s, family years, mid life crisis and retirement. The book is fun and serious at the same time. Thoughts we have for the graphic design is something that illustrates thoughts and/or expression, learning/development, fun and social time. One thought we had is a cloud to symbolise bubble for thinking BUT we are open to anything else when it comes to the design. We have not decided yet if the book cover cover will be in colour or black or white so the design needs to take this into account.

• The book will be sold in a digital version and print version. The print version will have a cover that is stylish and convey a designer look. We want the book to be a "Coffee table book" a book in the home of people that sits on a desk in a social area (not a book that is put away in a book shelf).
