Brief de Web Design

This competition is the first step of a 3 step project.
- Step 1: (This project) We are looking to have 3 pages designed to evaluate your design and illustration skills.
- Step 2: Once we find a winner, we will request a bid to have the rest of the website designed.
- Step 3: We will request a bid to have the designs converted into WordPress if the bid is acceptable.
If you have the capabilities, Steps 2 and 3 can be combined into a single project/bid.
Design Notes
- Design type should be “FLAT.”
- Clean, crisp design that communicates security, anonymity, encryption, privacy.
- Please take a look at the following website: http://snug.snugvpn.com This is our current Word Press based setup. It contains all the link structures, menus, and text for the website. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CURRENT DESIGN HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT YOU ARE DESIGNING. I USED THE FIRST WORD PRESS TEMPLATE THAT I COULD FIND. Once you submit a winning design, either YOU (if you have the skill set) or somebody else will take the designs and convert it into a word press template.

• I have a dummy graphic up. That graphic needs to be replaced. Also as per the “Should have’s” I want all pages to have unlimited stretching right and left without that grey border on the right and left sides that are currently present.)

- Colors are up to the designers; this includes logo colors

• - Look great on Desktop, Tablet, and smartphones.
• - The current template has borders. I want the new design to stretch with the browser, e.g., no grey borders on the left and right of the screen.
• - All illustration work must be original. We are not interested in stock photos.
• - Use attached logo. Font is Nexa Xbold.

• - A nonfunctional look on smartphones. A high percentage of purchases will be made by smartphone users.
• - Should only have solid colors (two tone or three tone is ok). I am not a big fan of gradients or soft shadows.
