Brief de Design de Logo

Our high school has an academic crest that we would like help updating. We don't want to replace any of the specific components of the crest, but we would like to try to update the look and feel of the crest and it's components.

Here is what we would specifically like to see in the new design:
1: Update the design of the existing mountain, winged foot, tree, torch and the cats on either side of the shield. Please see uploaded files for pictures of our mountain (would like the mountain in the crest to look like the mountain in the uploaded file).
2. Our mascot is a wildcat - which is most similar to a bobcat. It is NOT a puma, tiger or cougar. This is the biggest challenge of the design. At this point, we would prefer to see a graphic representation of the cat, instead of a hand illustration of the cat in the picture. Position, stance, angle, etc. of the cat can be tweaked.
3: I believe the feathers coming out of the top of the crest are intended to be ostrich feathers, or a plume of feathers (if you google "crest plume of feathers", you'll see some other examples). These could definitely use an update.
4: Please keep the text "Mount Si High" somewhere in the design.

School colors are scarlet red and dark gray. We would like to keep the red in the current design, but the grays could go darker if that is helpful in providing more definition and clearer details.

The current crest is hard to embroider, given the details in the cats. The face gets lost in the body and has a lot of fine lines in it. We will be using the crest in both print and embroidery, so please keep that in mind as you design. Would still like to see details in the cat versus a simple silhouette, but would appreciate a design that works for both print and embroidery.
