Brief de Design de Logo

We are working with a non for profit organization that is determined to raise funds and awareness around the issue of an elevated risk of gastric cancer among the people of Bhutan.

The organization is called S.A.I.L. Bhutan - (Saving And Improving Lives in Bhutan).

The objective: Raise awareness and funds. Create global awareness for easy & cost effective "vaccine-like" gastritis prevention approach. in order to deliver testing and drugs related to the H-pylori bacteria.

Why? This is a simple bacteria that in most countries with access to good medicines and medical care can be eliminated with a simple course of antibiotics. In Bhutan right now there is an elevated incidence of gastric cancer probably associated to the lack of attention given to this bacteria, that causes gastritis and if untreated can lead to gastric cancer. SAIL in Bhutan aspires to raise funds in order to bring simple testing and drugs to the people of Bhutan and in doing so, hopefully lower the incidence and deaths related to gastric cancer.

What do we need?
At this stage we'd like to have a logo with global appeal that can serve as the icon for this movement.

The logo will be used on a website and social media mostly.

Facts About the Bhutan and its people that might serve as inspiration for this design project:

Bhutan is a Buddhist kingdom on the Himalayas’ eastern edge, is known for its monasteries, fortresses (or dzongs) and dramatic landscapes. There might be inspiration in buddhist iconography or symbolism that can align with the purpose of our project.

The kingdom of Bhutan is known as the happiest people on earth. The government has a philosophy that drives them called the Gross National Happiness (GNH), It includes an index which is used to measure the collective happiness and well-being of a population.

Their focus on happiness and well-being of its people might serve as inspiration for the design.

Finally Bhutan is an amazing country with incredible natural beauty. There could be inspiration around the natural environment associated with the country. Green / Ecology / responsible / sustainability and how we associate this with health and healthy people could be another area to explore.
