Brief de Design de Logo

We need a new logo design for a new paint contracting corporation based in the San Francisco Bay Area called H&H Painting, Inc. We offer interior/exterior, commercial/residential building paint jobs. The ideas/details brainstormed by the corporate stockholders and board of administrators, contain but are not limited to the following:
1. A cactus (similar to the one attached below) with a paint brush in one arm and a paint bucket in the other.
2. A cactus (similar to the one attached below) with paint dripping on it.
3. A cactus (similar to the one attached below) with paint splattered on it.
4. A cactus (similar to the one attached below) with thorns of different colors (as if dipped in paint).
5 A cactus (similar to the one attached below) with a door and some windows (similar to those on a painted house).

These are only ideas but we are open to the imagination of the designer, as long as the cactus symbol is embedded into the logo. We also enjoy the color scheme and font of the previous logo, only problem is that it doesn't really communicate the fact that we are a paint contracting corporation. As well as communicating that we do in fact "paint buildings", we also want the logo to communicate quality work and professionalism.

(If the designer really cannot find anyway to incorporate the cactus into the logo then we would be open to other ideas, although we would highly appreciate it.)

We would like two different logos. One with words, like the logo attached below: "H&H Painting, Inc. Where Colors Come Alive" for t-shirts and on the side of truck doors. And another with no words, just the plain symbol, as for business cards and the company website.
