Brief de Design de Logo

I need a logo design for a new tiki-inspired cocktail syrup brand based in Vancouver called "Maki Maki". I also need the slogan, "Handcrafted Cocktail Syrups" to appear somewhere in the logo. I create a variety of classic cocktail syrups with an emphasis on the tiki subculture and its exotic and complex drinks. Some of my biggest competitors are companies such as BG Reynolds, Lab, Liber & Co. and Cocktail & Sons. I would like the design to have a mid-century feel to it, something which projects both classiness as well as the playfulness of tiki. I will be using the logo on my "boston round" style bottles (photo included) so keep that in mind when designing.
