Brief de Design de Logo

African American Heritage in Massachusetts is a company that produces a family of products that celebrate and educate people about the fascinating heritage of African Americans in the state of Massachusetts. Those initial products include:
* a tourist book of sites important to that heritage
* a coloring book for children
* T-shirts with line drawings of people important to the history of the state on the front / vision * faith * determination -on the back
* a wall calendar
* notecards

We're looking for a logo to tie these family of products together although the individual products will differ in actual designs. the tourist book will be the cornerstone product. although the book is in final layout, the cover has not yet been designed. I envision a montage of the people included in the book for the cover design. the T-shirts have been designed and the coloring book as well. the logo could be the theme for business cards and brochures to advertise the family of products.

a lot of the history explored is from the 18th and 19th century so the design should convey a sense of history yet it should be accessible to a contemporary audience that is comfortable with digital devices. after we produce the hardcopy of the book, we plan to develop an app with the information for people's smart devices.
