Brief de Design de Logo

Hi there. First let me say I am happy to extend work, if we get the design right together. We just purchased a 5 star hotel called "Moulin De Royale" just outside of Paris, France in the region of Pierrefonds. It means Royal Mill in english. The property is Heritage listed, being originally built in 1616, and in 1849, was once owned by Napoleon III and his wife Eugene De Montijo, who used the Mill to design textiles and make the royal clothing. The hotel is a luxury 5 star hotel appealing to European Tourists mainly. Ideas in my mind is to create a Royal Crest, but one that captures my heritage, the area and that the logo main character, being a Red Deer Stag head. The detail of the Stag must be very clear so that it can be replicated into 3D design for wood and stone carving into areas of the property. The property is very masculine by nature and feel.

So the design elements that we have in my mind are as below to use as an inspiration and not an instruction.

1. Use the plumage/elements from the FORBES family crest - this is easy to find on google. this is my family crest. You do not need to copy like for like, but use as the inspiration

2. The Red Deer Stag is the symbol animal for the area of the hotel and the regional has lots of Stag bronze statues. The hotel also has 2 deer onsite so we want the animal to feature in the crest. It must be masculine and appear strong.

3. On the crest somewhere, or on the head of the Stag I would like the crown from Jordan applied, or underneath the Stag. My husband is from Jordan. If you google Jordan Crown, you will find visuals. I have attached a sample

4. Colour wise the main predominant colours to be Navy blue and White, or at least a masculine form of Blue. But i will also need the logo to be able to translate into simple mono colour for stationary and embossing, that can be the next job I post. So an outline version for embossing stationary etc. I don't mind adding several colours in addition, I leave that to creative input.

5. The logo does not need to include the name of the hotel, as it has 2 different spellings, subject to where you advertise here. Royale and Roilaye

Some notes for consideration, by law I am not allowed to use aspects of Napoleon III Royal Crest. We can use pieces of Eugene De Montijo Crest as she was the official owner of the mill. I have attached a visual of the stone carving of her Crest in the attachments, in case that inspires.

As one of us is from Australia and the other from Jordan, we would consider a sprig of wattle and a sprig of the olive branch potentially.

We do not want something too visually graphic heavy, making it having so many additions that the logo is unclean and cumbersome.

When people see the logo they must think Luxury, expensive and Royal.

I am open to interpretation and after your submission, we can talk to further development from there, if required.
