Brief de Design de Logo
The new company is called "Savvy Agent Services Inc.", and we provide an eclectic mix of support services for North American residential property real estate agents. These independent business people are very busy, but are not usually tech/design knowledgeable. So we provide business card printing, websites, sales leads generated from our own websites, VOIP telephone services, printer toner cartridges, onsite network support, office assistant & virtual assistant recruiting, bulk mailing services, bulk emailing, etc. We want to be known as a trusted, reliable, fast-delivery, low-cost, easy to work with, one-stop shop for busy real estate agents & brokers who simply don't have time or the expertise to take care of these kinds of business details while they're busy selling real estate or trying to find clients: we do all the stuff that they need done, but isn't a good use of their time. All of our services are all "a la carte": agents can just use us for one specific service, or several different services.
The logo design is pretty much wide open, with no constraints on colors, content, etc. except that it must be gender-neutral, easy on the eyes, and instill a sense of trust and reliability, and be broad enough to convey the wide range of services that we offer. Possibly mixing a real estate house/home flavor with the notion of business services, or it could be a completely abstract design that just looks nice. Possibly something like a stick-person character with a "for sale" sign under his/her arm calling for help, or other graphic. Or perhaps just a cool "Savvy Agent" seal type of logo. Or some other kind of "assistance of all kinds" flavor.
Other influences include a Vancouver, BC Canada location, with potential to branch to other areas of Canada (but not into the US), which has a "green" natural beauty being bounded by mountains and the Pacific Ocean. A design with a bit of a nod to "west coast Canada" would be well received, as long as it wasn't overwhelming the design.
Another key aspect for the successful design is the "cleverness" of the design, and how it "works" more than one way. For example, the name "Savvy Agent Services" has two "ways" of looking at it: one is "Services for Savvy Agents", and the other is "Really Clever Services for Agents". Just a minor "gimmick", but we like minor "twists" in our chosen designs. This is a nice to have, the icing on the winning cake, so to speak.
Updates
I'd just like to suggest that the design elements "Savvy" and "Agent" should likely be (but not necessarily required to be) kept together as a joint element, i.e. "Savvy Agent", as in SAVVY AGENT services inc., where "Savvy Agent" is the object, and not shown as SAVVY agent services, where "agent services" are lumped together as a single object, and Savvy being the adjective that describes them.
In this case, "Savvy" is a word meaning "clever" and "streetwise" and "knowledgeable about things hidden", and so the image we're trying to present is "Services for people who are <or perceive themselves to be> clever and knowledgeable about things. Savvy Agents, in other words. The adjective Savvy is usually applied to people, and not intangible things like "services", so savvy AGENT SERVICES probably won't work.
All that said, if someone has a brilliant idea that does make use of the word "Savvy" separate from the rest of the name, I don't want to dissuade the idea. But I did want to point out that we're trying to appeal to people who consider themselves "Savvy Agents", and that calling the services "savvy" is risky.
Also, we've just committed the funding to encourage some more creative thinking!
Thanks,
NB
