Brief de Design de Couverture de Livre
"Flocks of One" is the fourth book in the John Morano Eco-Adventure Series. It's a YA novel that adults will enjoy, based on the adventures of several birds, some avian and marine characters from prior books, and several humans as well.
We're looking for a front-and-back, wraparound cover that will be used for the print and ebook editions of this title (ebook will include just the front). THERE ARE TWO PRINT EDITIONS FOR THIS TITLE, WITH DIFFERENT TRIM SIZES. Please take note of this when working on the covers.
The cover must be consistent with that of the other three books in the series in style, tone, and typography. Included with this task are the final covers for those books.

Art suggestion from the author: "Two of the most striking birds in the book are the Ivory-billed woodpecker and the Spix's Macaw. Two of the three main plot lines follow their stories. There is a section of the story where both birds are in the same place at the same time, the Pine Barrens in New Jersey, a wonderful setting. Featuring the woodpecker on a tall pine or oak, with the macaw flying in the distance beyond, would get both birds on the cover and could look interesting."
PLEASE REFER TO ATTACHED FILES for examples of the Spix's Macaw, Ivory-billed Woodpecker, and the Pine Barrens. Submissions that don't reflect the right birds or environment will not be considered.
