It enables consumers to purchase "high ticket products" (designer products, equipment, home products) generally between $1000 to $5000 US which is 1 million Won to 5 million Won (exchange rate = $1 to 1000Won), which would otherwise require full payment. Thus, the business model is a fusion of existing consumer product markets bridged by private financing from one year to three years that effectively operates as a credit card in western societies.
