Brief de Design Illustration
I am seeking an illustration to open, and a second variant to close, a chapter.
The chapters is on the timing of pay, and how the Batch (every two-week process) keeps employees trapped without their money between paychecks, waiting for their paycheck to come, while bills arrive every day.
I have uploaded three versions of the same opening chapter layout, each with a different 'stock' illustration.
The three, taken together, I hope, illustrate what I am seeking: an illustration that shows a human who is trapped and struggling.
The successful illustration/illustrator will bring their own style to this problem and solve it with an illustration that is compelling.
The second/secondary illustration, for the end of the chapter, would show the situation resolved. For example, in the example shown with the character in the fist, the character would have broken free.
I don't need to see both versions to choose an illustration, although a sketch or few words on how the illustration would be 'resolved' for the chapter closing would be helpful.
