Brief de Design de Logo

I need a logo for a high end mountain bike company based in California. Product will be clean and simple and the logo should be as well. The company name is Shrub Cycles and I'm currently considering out lines of manzanita or other scrub brush in the shape of the califonia bear. The design should also translate well to an engraving so it must not have multiple colors without distinct borders. I'm also very open to other logo ideas.
