Brief de Design de Logo

I need a logo for a new coffee distribution business based in Northern NSW Australia. The logo/icon will be used exclusively on facebook and instagram with the potential to be used on business cards or t-shirts in the future if catchy enough. No plans for a website exist.
First Floor Espresso (the business) is the authorised distributor for Veneziano Coffee Roasters (www.veneziano.com.au) in the Northern NSW region. The company roasts and distributes premium specialty coffee and associated cafe beverages including teas. High quality equipment sales are also part of the business mix. A loose connection to the branding of the parent company could be utilised but not essential.
The distribution area is from just south of the Gold Coast to Evans Head and encompasses the famous tourist beach town of Byron Bay. Byron Bay is the main target customer area. The region is know for its beautiful beaches, hinterland, great food and tourism.
The name First Floor Espresso came from the fact our office is house above our Lismore cafe (www.thebankcafe.com.au). More recent renovation images can be found on instagram and facebook by searching "the bank cafe lismore".
I want an icon that is catchy, clever and professional and in-line with current Byron Bay design trends. It needs to be identifiable to a coffee professional or cafe/restaurant operator. The icon doesn't have to include any written words or letters but can.
