Brief de Design Illustration
32" X 48" graphic design of an cityscape to be used as a play mat for children. It will include various streets, buildings, houses, hospital, police station, airport, fire department, church, to name a few. It will be an aerial view of a creative, fun to play on city. Children will use Hot Wheels cars to drive around on the streets, small airplanes to land on the tarmac, etc. Some digital graphics can be used, i.e., tar streets to make the actual streets, photo realistic city items such as fire hydrant, grass, trees, etc., however the main goal is to make a super fun, young child appropriate art piece that makes a child want to play on it. 300 dpi. I have provided a sample design. I would want this sort of design but with much more detail and a fresh new layout with the same functionality, new buildings, different street layout, your creativity is needed here!

This is a rather large project, being 32" x 48". It would be great for you to submit a city corner with a building on it, a sky downward perspective of it as if the play mat itself showing me your photoshop and illustration ability. For example, lets say you all choose the bottom left HOSPITAL building to create your own idea. Change the floor plan, street approach, windows, roof, look of that building. I can then see your talent to be able to entrust you to do the whole project. The street layout in total should also be changed. You can come up with your own idea as to where this or that should/could be, i.e., airport, etc. That part could just be a quick pencil sketch, nothing fancy to show your layout idea. As mentioned before if you do a great job I would be willing to pay more, perhaps double the original. Thus, the more you put in, the more you get paid. Thanks!
