Brief de Design Graphique
A fun, smokin' hot zydeco band needs album art for second CD, using the attached templates.
Band Name: Zydeco Revelators
Album Title: "Zydeco Revelators II" (or "Zydeco Revelators 2", or "Zydeco Revelators Q" with the script Q resembling the number 2)
You can follow your muse and use any of the attached photos.
Here are the panels we need designed:
1) Front CD cover - could be single photo or a collage of photos
2) Back CD cover - could be single photo or a collage of photos
3) Inside Panel - could be single photo or a collage of photos
4) Inside Panel that CD rests on - could be single photo or a collage of photos
5) CD disc face
***Must incorporate our logo on either the front or back cover,
and on the disc face ***
A bit about the band:
Zydeco Revelators play hot Louisiana-flavored dance music. Sweet Cajun accordion, electric guitar and a powerhouse rhythm section, and that cool metal rubboard vest! Bring yer dancin’ shoes...
And these guidelines from our printer:
When sending your PDF images: Did you use the supplied templates from the project center? Old templates will cause the image to appear to “shift” in the proof. Do NOT crop the template in any way before uploading your image. (The extra “white space” surrounding the template is necessary in centering your images properly)
Be sure to “hide” or “remove” your template guides before exporting.
Be sure to “save” your image as a PDF. We strongly recommend that you export your PDF using the “PDF/X-4” settings in the PDF Export dialog box. Do not “print” as a pdf. This will show your image has shifted in the template, because it is sizing the image to the print size of 8½ x 11.
Be sure that your artwork extends into the crop marks. All text must remain inside the safety areas. Disc images should be uploaded as a “square” for optimal coverage. Do not leave a center hole cut out.
Images should be set at 300dpi or greater or will appear "grainy" or "pixelated".
