Most, if not all, couples are French, from the classical period until the XXth century. Most of the women are well-known : Diane de Poitiers, Héléna Rubinstein, Simone de Beauvoir, Agatha Christie, George Sand, Edith Piaf, Marie Curie.

Yes, two people, a man and an older woman (his lover). They are dressed as usual people of the period, which you can choose in any century.
