Brief de Design de Logo

Seadling is a seaweed breeding company (Seadling ... ie seedlings for the sea). We develop improved varieties of seaweeds and supply seedlings to seaweed farmers that are stronger, healthier and grow faster. We are based in South East Asia (Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippines). We will revolutionise seaweed farming and change the world by developing seaweed varieties that can be used not only for food but also fertilizer, animal feed, bio-plastics and bio-fuel. The goal of the company is to eventually use seaweed to remove carbon from the atmosphere.


The logo needs to be attractive to the customers (low income farmer, english isnt first language). It must be clean and simple. And should communicate quality and reliability.
It should also communicate what the company stands for - using sustainable seaweed farming to solve some of the worlds great problems

I will attach a couple of examples of logos from other companies that I like the design

There should be some way of demonstrating the different spelling of our company name (as opposed to Seedling).

Ill also attach the file of the simple prototype logo that we've been using up until now. I like how it uses bold to highlight the different spelling of SEA. So that is nice. But feel free to use other ways (color, design etc) of demonstrating the different spelling of SEA.

I am open to it being in caps (SEADLING) or regular (Seadling)

The prototype logo uses Roboto which I like. But Im also open to other fonts. I also like Philosopher and Krona One. The font should be open licence.

I am open to shape/style of some of the letters being changed and made unique (eg Movento logo)

I want the following colour incorporated somehow- #43acb6 (or a colour very similar)
Im open about whether it is as the main text colour or as just an accent
Im open about all other colours
