Brief de Design de Logo

Our current IT company name is PCCare, which doesn't fit us anymore as we've grown into a higher-end IT engineering business. We recently decided to go with a company rebranding called "Square3 IT" because of the 3 squares in our old logo. The smaller text that would sometimes be used with the logo would say "Information Technology Service Provider."

We would like to keep our old squares in some way in the new logo (attached.) But we would also like to add another effect of a different color that is more exciting than the typical blue/grey corporate stuff we have now.

I have in mind some type of brighter yellow swoosh or line or other effect in addition to the 3 squares, but don't be limited by that color or design. Also maybe the squares themselves could be freshened up some, but probably not something extremely different.
