Brief de Design Illustration
Sports medicine physician and avid CrossFitter catering medical services to CrossFit athletes.
1) Looking for illustrator to bring concepts to life with the theme of physician and athlete doing activities side-by-side, ex: partner deadlifts, handstand walks, pull-ups etc with physician in traditional scrubs/white-coat garb. Need illustrator to create an accurate, comic-book style illustrated version of me – see Yehuda Adi Devir’s illustrations from One of Those Days (see files “Devir Sample 1 and 2” as reference). Use files "Schulte Strong Medicine" "Schulte Adam Staff Photo" and "Unknowns2013" as template from which to develop concept of the physician. Please choose from one of the following image themes below. The chosen illustrator will be guaranteed payment for this and the other image themes to follow, as well as other subsequent projects.
2) With reference to #1, these are the one-panel image concepts I'm attempting to achieve:
- Group of athletes handstand walking out of frame to right, physician handstand walking behind the group on left (in-frame) with white coat draped over face obstructing view.
-Physician standing to side of athlete sprawled out on floor in sweat puddle, gasping for air. Physician holding hand to face in contemplation, looking down at athlete. (Use files "Contemplative doc" and "crossfit athlete on floor" as reference)
-Physician and athlete in top of ring dip facing each other, smiling (see file "partner ring dips" as reference)
-athlete sticking a heavy split jerk, physician off to side with hands up in celebration (see files "affiliate community 2", "affiliate community 4", "soccer fan cheering" and "CFSF_lift_celebration_molly" as reference)
-Athlete and physician at top position of partner deadlift (see file "partner deadlift")
-Athlete and physician one-arm handstand high-5 (see file "handstand partners")
