Brief de Design de Logo

An established company who is based in Seattle, Washington. My wife is a watercolor Artist who started painting "Vegetable Portraits" on paper products and started putting her images on what we refer to as 'Tea Towels' (Kitchen Towels). Tea Towels tend English and early American. She searched the US for real Flour Sack cloth of the highest quality.

Her towels are made in the USA and printed in Seattle using a 4 color (or more) color process. Her product is unique because it looks like the image she painted but the screen printing is durable and washer dryer friendly.

Her images have expanded beyond fruits, vegetables, and flowers and she is now creating new lines. Her images include Ravens, Salmon, Sea Critters, Rooster, Dragonflies, ladybugs, and leaping lambs to name a few. As a growing business she is now starting to put her images on Aprons and coffee mugs and hopes to expand to coasters and other merchandise as manufacturing comes available.

My wife is herself an artist but needs a creative mind that can come up with a unique logo design that is not one of her images. For those interested, please email me and I will send the URL of her website for ideas of her product.

Her two main colors HTML are: yellow FFFF99 and green 66CC33. The Font she has branded her signage and some literature with is called "Hollywood Starfire" which she owns the rights to use. If you can find some way to use these colors please do if not the departure should make sense.

She is looking for all image ideas, food related, kitchen related, variations of the PKA acronym. She does want an image and not just the words, but she would be interested with variations of the PKA theme.

It is important the logo not be cutesy or country kitchen. Her likes are more to warm modern, colorful, and organic. Her style is less industrial or symmetric.

• warm and organic. Even playful. color. Not the rainbow.
• Square. Based on the designs a Square design is preferable.
• We are noticing that most people are focusing on Kitchen and not on Art. The business is an Artist who put her images on Tea Towels rather than paper on a wall. The towels are a medium and the kitchen is the location for the art.
• Also, many submissions have cutlery and other stock images that we can google. Please, the more unique and less clip-art the better.
• Also I would like to see some art in motion or the feel of creativity. I don't know to represent that and am hoping somebody can.
