Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo that captures the heart and mission of our ministry.The Upper Room is a new christian church service in Long Beach, CA and we are all about helping people take the "Next Step" on their way to experiencing the fullness of life. Our main motto is: "Share Life. Share Jesus". The final logo should clearly create name/brand recognition and we are looking for an emblem that can stand on its own with or without the name so that the emblem can be used in marketing and advertising. The key to this is that the emblem must remain iconic and linked to the Upper Room, in other words, people still need to know that the emblem represents the Upper Room even without the words. We are comfortable with both an artistic bend or a clean & straight forward design. The word "the" is optional for the logo. Lastly, you may use whatever font style you prefer for the project but we would like to avoid any fonts that are extremely sharp or extremely elegant.
