Help design a logo for SecondWave. We are a small recycling company based dually in San Diego, CA and Austin, TX. Our goal is to incorporate a passion for the environment and outdoor sports with a growing need to responsibly reuse and recycle old, outdated and unusable cell phones, PDA's and tablet computers.
SecondWave is easy-going, passionate, fun and involved. We want to help individuals recycle their electronics and also help a cause important to them, their friends or family. We provide a double positive benefit – feel good about getting rid of old and unwanted phones, PDA’s and tablets, but also feel great about using this old equipment to help a worthwhile cause.
The logo design should communicate a bit of who we are and what we do. We like the multiple meaning of "SecondWave"; that it is a surfing reference, also a bit of a renewal or next-generation reference. We will be speaking to consumers and end-users, but also to corporations and non-profit businesses. Therefore the logo should reflect our personality, but also convey a sense of professionalism.
A possible tag or stance line for us is:
Realize a new passion with an old phone. Recycle today.

Also, we are struggling with the logo and corporate name as one word (SecondWave) or two words (Second Wave). Perhaps creative could be the judge.
If logo is pictoral or abstract, it is important to include the company name as we are just a little start-up.
