Our company name is "Billets.com" (french word) which translates to "tickets" in english. (you can visit our actual website to get a better idea of what our business is about)
BRAINSTORM : we sell a lot of concert and sporting (mostly hockey and some north american soccer and tennis) tickets. So your design may include elements such as a microphone, fan (not the device, the #1 fan that assists every major concert), singer, hand gesture (peace, rock, like sign) ice hockey stick, soccer ball, tennis ball, projector lights, or anything you see at a concert or sporting event. Play with those shapes to create something clever out of negative space... It has to do with our name or business, so a big "B" or a pair of tickets would most likely be it.
NO PERFORATED EDGE type of ticket please.
The ".com" part of the name must standout in some way because our competitor has the exact same name but with a different domain extension (Billets.ca)
Colors : up to the designer BUT our main competitor is blue; DO NOT USE BLUE PLEASE. Other color options would be appreciated. Green? Yellow? Orange? Red? It's all good, we're open to suggestions!

Do not be intimidated by the relatively high number of designs submitted, most designers submit 4-5 images of the same design, rendered differently, on a business card, up on a wall, etc.
Please read the briefing carefully and submit accordingly.
If you have a totally different and unique idea, please submit it, we never know, you might change our mind!

- NEGATIVE SPACE : play with negative space, the winner of this competition will most likely be the one who come up with a creative way to make tickets appear somewhere in the logo by using negative space.
- One or many tickets can or must be embedded in the logo. Can be as a graphic element or included in the text.
- We are looking for something very different from our current logo. So design from Groud Zero. Have fun! Leave everything behind and start fresh!
- Must be able to scale it down to about an inch wide and still be readable.
- Must be able to purchase the font used in the logo, if we ever need to make other branding elements based on the logo. (eg: ppt slides, website headlines...)
