Brief de Design Graphique

We need a graphic that illustrates conceptually the services that our clinic provides. We provide a range of services designed to help people manage mental health issues without having to go to the hospital. Services include counseling, skills training, crisis prevention planning, and a crisis respite center where patients can come if they are feeling suicidal. The graphic should depict something like levels, steps, or layers, showing that we provide degrees of increasing strength of protection from suicidal crisis. We do not want to show a person shielded by armor or a shell. One possible idea is to depict a directional or ascending flow that meets greater protections and is prevented from culminating in a crisis. This graphic will be used in marketing materials provided to potential investors.

• Here is more guidance to help designers: (1) Our clinic focuses on people who are at risk of suicide due to strong, turbulent emotions. So it may be useful keep in mind while designing that stormy emotions are the cause of people moving toward crisis. (2) You may consider a design that illustrates the layers or levels of protection in the form of support, such as helping hands, other people helping, or a more abstract depiction of growing support as the crisis gets worse. In other words, rather than showing layers of PROTECTION, you could show levels of SUPPORT. (3) I would encourage depicting approximately 3 levels or layers of support. We plan to refer to this graphic in meetings with sponsors to help them grasp the concept of the clinic, and we need to be able to refer to the graphic and connect it to the levels of service that we provide.
