Brief de Design Étiquette

We are a new brewery called 'Evil Corporation Brewing' who needs three distinct but cohesive labels for our beer and want a modern, edgy, and imposing design to launch our beers. The concept for our brewery is based on evil movie corporations such as Weyland Corporation from Alien and Omni Consumer Products from Robocop, so you can draw inspiration from those types of fictional evil corporations. Our brand conveys an evil presence, but is not 'evil' so no devils or anything too dark. The template for the label and guidelines are attached and must be adhered to as they are required to submit a can design in this format. Also included is our font file and logo vector file which cannot be changed apart from separating the hop image from the 'Evil Corporation Brewing' text. We would like to use a black background for the can design. Some of the details for the beer may change, so please use the text specified below (or placeholder text if no detail is given below so that we can update the text later) and proposed font. If your design is chosen, we would require two versions of each label - one for a 473 ml can and one scaled up for a 355 ml can. Please read through all the requirements provided in the documentation provided.


First Label (use the 473 ml can template)

Beer Name: IPO (Initial Public Offering) IPA
Beer Style: India Pale Ale
Beer ABV: 6.5%
Barcode: use a generic placeholder
Quantity: 473 ml
Can Design Background: Black
Label must indicate the words "Strong Beer" (must be on the front panel)
Ingredients: malt, hops
Location of Brewery: Calgary, Alberta


Second Label (use the 473 ml can template)

Beer Name: Profit and Loss Pale Ale
Beer Style: Ale
Beer ABV: 5.5 % alc./vol (must be on front panel)
Barcode: use a generic placeholder
Quantity: 473 ml
Can Design Background: Red or White?
Label must indicate the words "Strong Beer" (must be on the front panel)
Ingredients: malt, hops
Location of Brewery: Calgary, Alberta


Third Label (use the 473 ml can template)

Beer Name: Ponzi Porter
Beer Style: Porter
Beer ABV: 5.5%
Barcode: use a generic placeholder
Quantity: 473 ml
