CRUEL HEARTS is a thriller about a gangster who forms an unlikely and dangerous friendship with his adulterous wife's former lover. This is a film noir with a romantic/dramatic edge to it, and is inspired by movies like GET CARTER, POINT BLANK and THE LIMEY. Hero is a heartbroken criminal who's torn how to handle his wife's infidelity - he can't bear to kill or hurt her, but hurting people is all he knows. There are no big stars in the movie, so we don't want a poster showing the character's faces, but are looking more for something with an overall graphic concept. Open to ideas in this regard. Will upload some samples of older films/novels that have the feel to them we're after as well as some stills from the movie for inspiration. We like the idea of playing with light and shadow, but wouldn't go full black-and-white - might be better to rather keep a gritty, 70's texture. Our tag line is "FIND WHAT YOU LOVE. LET IT KILL YOU." Dimensions should be 27x40 - full-size movie poster for printing.
