Do you plan on having this logo printed in any way? If you do, 'lime green' will not print correctly. Because of the nature of printers and the colors they print (in CMYK), lime green colors (like the one in your logo) will always print a dull green. If you are only using it for a website, you can use lime green all you like since it uses a different color model (RGB). But if you want business cards or something else printed, you may not be happy with the results. It might be wise to select a different color that is safe for print.
Ultimately it will be printed and used on our website. The color that is in the logo now we have had printed on apparel, etc and haven't had any problems with it. Maybe the printer adjusts the shade a little bit when they print it for us? We have had this logo for the past year, we just want to update it a little bit. It's hard to read with the crumbled font on the bottom..not as modern as it could be.
It may be different for apparel. You may also identify a 'spot' color or Pantone color that is close to what you want. The reason I mention this at all is because it may difficult for a designer to find a lime green color that will work well for print and you may be faced with obstacles later on trying to achieve this color, depending on what you want to do. Consider reading up on the issue a bit more: http://cp.amspictures.com/blog/how-to-use-pantone-color-matching-cmyk/
It's easy to produce fluorescent colors for a website in RGB but they do not translate to CMYK print models very well. Something to keep in mind is all.
We were trying to replicate the colors of the football team the Seattle Seahawks...we liked their colors. Does't have to be exact though. It's important that it prints well on apparell. Here are the team colors: http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://static.tumblr.com/3spmlbo/Iemm9juxa/green.jpg&imgrefurl=http://seattleseahawksnfl.tumblr.com/&h=1024&w=1365&sz=191&tbnid=qkKNs-7wNk7-TM:&tbnh=112&tbnw=149&zoom=1&usg=__tPap6J3zK5S7fmCcKZME1zizVeY=&docid=RgnE56Wfy3btBM&sa=X&ei=LEWnUsPJBO7isATNw4C4CQ&ved=0CNkBEP4dMBA
I appreciate your input
Can you guarantee payment?
I received a design little bit ago. It might be selected. If it's not, I'll email you back. But I think the business owners are going to select this one.
