Brief de Web Design

Hey,

This project is for DESIGN only, no coding involved. You will design a homepage and an interior page for this site. NOTE: For contest purposes just the home page, if we pick you as the winner, then we need you to do the interior page.

Thanks for checking out this project. You literally will be able to use your skills to design a website that will really help people in a big way and change their world.

The site we are working on is for a recovery center. These folks help people who are addicted to Alcohol and drugs to become sober and lead clean lives. The problem is that their website is horrible currently.

By us helping them with a great design we will build more trust and be able to help attract more people who need help.

Here is the old site: http://turningpointrc.com/ (BLAH) a borning wordpress template that does not serve their customers or their business.

Here is what we want:

Colors: Same colors as current website overall, but if you can make them more vivid that would be great.

Layout: We are open to different layouts to start. A few musts are:

Horizontal Navigation
Video on Homepage
Break Up Content in easy to read and visually appealing way

Please remember that people coming to this site are under stress, possible under the influence, or has a family member that is....They need to focus on getting themselves or their loved ones help. We need to make the site as easy as possible to navigate.

Here are some words that describe what we are trying to convey with this site:

Trust, Healing, Recovery, Help, Understanding, Caring, Compassion, Fresh Start, Clear Mind, No judgement, Health

Website Structure / Look of site:

The site should be very clean, professional, and easy to read. The site must be visually appealing so that it ads credibility to the business. The site should contain easy to read fonts (nothing funky) and should not be cluttered.

The site should also be bold.

Please use elements from their current site for text, headers, menus, etc.
