Brief de Design Graphique

Overview:
Design an illustration for a 4-piece dinnerware set that will include a dinner plate, salad plate, bowl, and mug. Each of the four place settings will have its own design but stay within the same theme.

The theme of this design is Butterflies and Flowers. Each of the 4 designs should contain 1-2 butterflies and a background of flowers, bees, (or ladybugs and other small insects and elements that match the theme) and a general flower garden/spring atmosphere.

This dinnerware set is for family and friends, for entertaining inside and outdoors when the weather is nice.

The design should be traditional, with illustrations that look more botanical than cartoon-like. The designer should keep in mind that the design will wrap around the outside of a mug and a bowl.

Style and color:
Illustration style should look like a drawing (not cartoon-like), with spring colors!

The wildflower dinnerware set image that is uploaded is to give an example of the shape of the dinnerware set that the design will be printed on. There is also a blank canvas example uploaded, which the designer can use to show the design for the various dinnerware pieces. The 2 circles are for the plates, the top rectangle is for the outside of the mug, and the bottom rectangle is for the outside rim of the bowl. Most important is seeing the 4 designs now and getting a feel for the overall set. An example of a butterfly set is also uploaded to give designer's a feel for the direction/style we are looking for.
