Brief de Design de Logo

We recently spun off our proprietary software from the law firm I run into it's own company. While the technology can be used for law firms, specifically case management, we don't want to tie ourselves to that industry. We feel as though we could sell to financial institutions and law firms alike. We're a NYC based company and want to come across as a bit edgy. Our technology is web based with a sql server database behind it. The technology was called JAWS when we built it, hence JAWSoft. We came up with a "logo" on our own, but have been getting mixed reviews. our existing website is www.jawsoft1.com.
