Brief de Design de Logo

Hi there. Our company, ICT Foundry, operates in the ICT (Information & Communications Technology) sector working exclusively with schools in the UK. We're looking to put together some marketing literature and need a fresh logo. A 'foundry' is a workshop or factory for casting metal and the name was chosen because it represents security, strength and reliability as well as creativity. We would like the logo to portray these features of our business. We're selling to the staff, not the students, so the logo does not need to be 'school-like'. We would prefer it to be confidence inspiring and professional. We'd like the logo and the company name to work together so we're looking for designs that either build the logo into/around the name or that sit alongside the name but define a unique font and colour for the name (so that the logo and the name are harmonised).
