Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for a new company called Rock City Jewelers. We will specialize in high end merchandise (gold, diamonds, luxury watches). My partners are open to a variety of ideas. We discussed using the initials of the company (R, C and J or just R and C). We're even willing to consider simple artwork designs ranging from simple and elegant to sleek and contemporary but preferably symmetrical. Colors that we have been discussing include red, white, black, silver but we are open to your suggestions.
