Brief de Design de Logo

We are looking for someone to design a logo for a new web site called Birthdaybox.co.uk, this web site will sell children's partyware items. To give you an idea about what the web site is about, you can look at these sites to give you an idea as we will be selling very similar items (just at the beginning a lot fewer items). At this moment we do not have a web site up and running as we are still looking and evaluating which E-commerce platform we should be on.

If you look at the rest of their web site you will see they sell much more than kids partyware, for example Christmas and Wedding items. To start with we will not be selling these type of items however, we are hoping to add these items to the site over the next few years. Because of this we are happy to see most designs illustrate that we are mainly a children’s partyware seller but at the same time we would like to see designs which would work if we were selling Wedding and Christmas partyware too. However, as I have said we think that most of the designs should reflect we sell kids partyware as that will be our main business for a considerable amount of time.

In terms of the design we would like a logo that looks highly professional and creative but is also very simple. We do not mind a logo that is purely made up of typography but if this was done we would like to see the typography used in a very creative way. We would also prefer a logo that had colour over a logo that used just black and white however we have no preference to the colours you use.

Goals we would like the logo to fulfill - Look professional so the consumer feels safe in ordering with us even if they have not used are web site before.

Target audience - In the first few years before we start offering other product lines our target audience will be mothers looking for partyware items for their children’s ages 1 years old to 12 years old.

Industry and competitors – Children’s partyware items are fun and colourful with many different designs, characters for both boys and girls. Many of the films made for children are made into partyware like Cars, Monsters University, Iron Man 3, Our main competitors in the UK would include Partydelights, Partypieces, Partyrama and signatureballoons
