Brief de Design de Logo

My new website, Barbados Travel Buddy will offer goods and services to travellers visiting Barbados. They will have booked their accommodation but will be seeking other elements to the holiday/vacation such as car hire, travel money and sim cards for their stay. I need to create an iconic logo which will create a brand associated with helping guests. They will receive advice and tips on how to save money. The will see the site a benefiting them, a friend, ali, assistant or indeed a buddy. The logo may be a full character or just the head. My demo site can be seen here

Most visitors to the site tend to be females who have already booked their accommodation. Aged between 25 and 65, they will be middle classed people mainly from England, Canada and America.

• The logo must be a character that is memorable and eye catching. It can be used with the words Barbados Travel Buddy underneath or indeed, just on its own. Not necessarily of caribbean origin, it can be a male or female. It must give a feeling of trust, friendliness, happiness, fun, sunshine and relaxation. A Caribbean Carnival Character maybe, bright, vibrant, friendly and having fun.  The character may well be applicable to different contexts and can be adapted.  For example, in the future I my offer Spain Travel buddy therefore the character can be accessoriesd and adapted to a spanish theme.  A little like Google amend the searh engine logo for various events on particular days.
