Brief de Design de Logo

We need a fresh look for the Summer Institute in Digital Literacy now that this program is moving to Chicago after 7 years in Providence. The logo should reflect a "summer in the city" theme and evoke the legacy of our previous "flower logo" with an urban sensibility.

The Summer Institute in Digital Literacy is a 42-hour week-long professional development programs for educators. It has a hands-on, minds-on approach to learning that helps educators integrate digital and media literacy education into the curriculum. During the program, educators get the opportunity to create media as part of their learning experience. The program is part of the Graduate Certificate in Digital Literacy. We would like a logo that includes an icon and text. These must be detachable and modular, so that we can use icon and font for both our signature summer program and the 12-credit online learning program.
