Who is Porting.com ?
We are a spin-off of ATL Communications who has been in business for 25 years, we are a Toll Free Number industry trusted Independent RespOrg that manages Toll Free Phone numbers in a similar fashion to what we will offer on our Local Number services at Porting.com (ATLC.com).
ATL is wanting to split off the new local number porting division and perhaps down the road rebrand the ATL RespOrg services to Porting.com as well.
Porting.com - National Local Number Porting experts, we provide a GUI or API interface that Landline Telephone and VoIP companies use to move their numbers from one provider to the other, losing business to a competitor or winning business from a competitor.
We will be entering the Cellular number porting business down the road as well.
Example – If CenturyLink/Level 3 has a current residential or business customer they provide telephone numbers to and they lose that business to Verizon/Frontier, they would make this administrative change throuh NPAC, there are over 800 telephone line providers in the USA that do not have a direct connection to NPAC and they would use Porting Pro to make that transaction happen in NPAC. Much like how the TD Ameritrade stock trading GUI works with the NASDAC.
Our interface connects to the this 1 and only USA regulated local number administration platform called NPAC https://www.npac.com/.
95% of the 8500 + telephone and VoIP companies who have access to local numbers do not connect directly to NPAC, they use a gateway “clearing house” SOA (Service Order Administration) to do so and this is who we are.
We are one of only 3 companies in the United States that offer this interface and our solution (PortingPro - https://atlc.com/lnp-services/ ) is a disruptive competitor to a 20 year stagnant competitive landscape.

Where to go from here?
Porting.com also wants to become a Global provider of administration platforms and services to all countries – In the USA Neustar is the current LNP administrator and this FCC regulated contract in now being transferred to Iconectiv. There in only 1 administrator assigned to each country.
The United Nations International Telecom Union is committed to connecting the world. To that end the ITU is lobbying more countries to implement number portability and it is estimated that over the next 10 years another 100+ countries will implement number portability services. By our estimates there are 60 countries that have implemented number portability as of the start of 2018. The United Nations recognises 249 countries, UN States, and Territories of which 196 Countries are members of the UN. We estimate that 190 democratic countries in total make up the entire Global Number Portability market. As of 2017 the portability market exceeds $2 billion in revenue and is expected to exceed $18 billion in revenue by 2025.
